1-2-1 Workshops

Looking to develop your photography skills, or simply learn how to take the camera out of auto? My ‘1-2-1’ workshops may be just what you are looking for. Join me for some quality time on location in the wonderful coastline or countryside in Cornwall or Devon.

I can share with you my expertise at photography and my knowledge of the local area. As the courses are designed around you, we can go at your pace and level. It’s educational, and fun!

Is a workshop for me?

The courses are designed for anyone interested in landscape photography from complete beginners to amateurs looking to take their hobby on to the next level.

“I would like to take the camera out of auto, but don’t know how” “I wish I knew where to go to get the best shots” “How can I take photos like the pros” If you have been asking any of these questions, then my workshops are definitely for you! What can I learn? The courses will run at your pace, and level – so we can cover whatever questions you may have. Typical subjects we can cover are: Taking control of your camera Composition Using the light Finding the best viewpoints Use of filters The courses are 100% practical, and 100% in the field. Sounds Good! What do I need? Camera (SLR or advanced compact) Good footwear Tripod (Recommended) Filters (Optional) Enthusiasm Transport

How much does it cost?

The workshops cost £75 for a half day ‘1-2-1’ workshop – or if you would like to book as a small group of 2 to 3 people, then the price is £50 per person for the half day. Half day workshops last 3 to 4 hours.

What if it rains?

Well, none of us can control the weather. Part of the fun of landscape photography is working with the light we are provided with. However if it is a complete washout, then we can rebook at a convenient time. If we cannot find an alternative date, then you will be offered a complete refund.
